I took a decision and I am not regretting and here's a overview of both the colleges I got to know in these years.
PESIT does not take admission through COMEDK anymore. Also, it's fee structure is twice as much as RVCE.
Apart from these two factors, PESIT is known to spend a lot on its marketing and publicity, RV hardly ever does that. Placements are pretty much the same in CSE and ISE but RV has a far better placements in other branches.
RV has a better campus and clubs as well.
So, my take is, go for ECE in RV.

Almost all the colleges give admission through lateral entry into second year as you may check the college details in the link given below:

After successful completion of diploma, you can seek admission in Aeronautical Engineering branch in Maharashtra directly in second year in any college. You will get admission based on merit.
