Your marks are good. You have two options. Firstly, take up some job, get experience and then do AMIE, which is equivalent to degree but that can be done at your leisure. Second option is to seek admission in 2nd year of engineering, complete degree and then look for job. Practical knowledge will come only with job.

After completing mechanical engineering, you can pursue Masters in biomechanical engineering.
1. Material sciences and manufacturing.
2. Thermal sciences.
3. Automobile engineering.
4. Design, manufacturing and tribology.
5. Dynamics, control robotics and neural engineering.
6. Fluid dynamics.
7. Solid mechanics.
8. Nanotechnology.

Any degree in engineering is validated or recognised. So, what you need to see is your interest in the subjects, mechanical is a core branch and will open lots of specialisation at Master's level later. Any specialised degree at Bachelor's level will restrict your options. So, choose carefully.

You have not mentioned your state. Admissions to Diploma are controlled by state governments. Normally, no institute is allowed to offer a course, if it does not have AICTE approval.
