To determine your chances of admission in the Mechanical branch of an engineering college through JEE, the exact college and its cutoff marks are necessary. However, with a percentile of 55 in JEE, it may be difficult to get admission to the top engineering colleges in India. You may have to look at colleges with lower cutoffs.
