Hi,
I may be the best person to answer this question as I have been through the NIFT interview. It was not that interesting as I expected but, was really entertaining.
It started with:
1) Tell your educational background
2) Why did you decide to switch from (your field) to fashion?
3) How are you going to align your previous education with fashion industry?
4) How pursuing Master from NIFT will boost your career?
6) What line of career would you choose after the completion of the course? I was well prepared for all the above questions so answered quickly with confidence. Then suddenly interviewer asked, Do you watch movies? I said yes,

Hi,
Yes, you are eligible for Masters of Fashion management (MFM ), if you have completed your B.Tech. And 23 is the age limit for the candidate who is applying for Bachelor's programme at NIFT, but you are applying for Master's degree so it's fine if you are 23 and above. Now, you need to clear an entrance exam offor Masters of fashion management (MFM). You need to score a rank under 500, if you fall under the general category.
All the best.

Hi,
If you complete your education from NIFT then you will have good opportunities in the career ahead because it's the second best college in design after NID. Also, it's a government college. NIFT also has a centralized placement system where a Bachelors student easily get a starting salary of 3 Lacs per annum and Masters student get a starting salary of 4 Lacs per annum (on an average).

Hi dear!
The advice I am giving you is not specific to any particular test. Aptitude test is something which tests your logical thinking and ability to solve the problems. So to be confident for any upcoming aptitude test, solve as many previous years question papers as you can. This will keep you in touch of the level of the test you are going to appear for. Try to restrict yourself in the same timing as of the entrance exam. Analysis your weak points and work on them. Don't try your hand on new concepts. Build your confidence on your strong points. Be aware about the new brands being launched, brand ambassadors of the Apparel brands.

These reviews are based on my personal experience-
http://raylynnedsa.com: One of the best classes in Bombay. The teacher is amazing- she has been teaching for over 30 years. She obviously knows what she is doing. The course work is divided according the different stages of the exam. You work on your portfolio with her. It is a class of about 15 students and you get one on one attentions.
