This disparity in the release of results on the NIFT website vis-à-vis the NTA website can, in fact, be judged almost at many levels. Unlike other universities, entrance examinations for the admission process are conducted by NIFT itself, and results are managed entirely by them. Sometimes, as and when updates or any new information is added, it first appears on the institutional website before they get updated on other external websites like NTA's website. Most of the institutions, therefore, update their own pages prior to a press release to other external organizations. One is therefore at liberty to keep checking both

NTA will release recorded answers for the NIFT 2026 written exam before results. Online downloads of the recorded responses are available at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT, the NTA website. Make sure you log in with your application number and birthdate to get the recorded responses. The tentative answer keys for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) admission test have been made available by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Generally, requesting a recheck of the NIFT 2024 results is not an option. The contestant may, however, contest the answer key if they are unsure. Recall that on April 26, 2024, the NIFT answer keys for the GAT paper of the written test were made available. In this instance, the body administering the exam may review the answer key and make any necessary modifications. There won't be an option to double-check the NIFT final findings, though. This could be due to the Situation Test's subjective nature. In addition, there are no perfect answers for the CAT, which means it is open to review.

There are 19 NIFTs that will accept NIFT 2026 Scores for admission purposes. These institutes are known as participating colleges.
However, in addition to the participating colleges, there are other private colleges that will also consider NIFT 2026 scores for admission to their UG and PG design courses. The candidates are urged to go through the list of result-sharing institutes.

One big concern students have regarding the delay in the NIFT exams is that the upcoming admission schedule could be cramped. If that had happened, the student would have had very limited time to prepare for the situation test/ personal interview. The other concern was if a student had failed to qualify in the written exams, he would also have limited time to plan his or her next course of action.
