NIT Jamshedpur specifies the minimum aggregate and qualification required to apply for a course. The basic eligibility for UG coures is Class 12 whereas graduation is required for PG programmes. Below is course-wise NIT Jamshedpur eligibility criteria:

NIT Jamshedpur does not offers direct admission. Candidates are shortlisted for BTech based on JEE Main score. BTech is the flagship programme of NIT Jamshedpur. Selected candidates are further allocated seat via JoSAA Counselling. Besides, admission to M.Tech and MSc courses is based on GATE and IIT JAM, respectively. Aspirants applying for MCA need to pass NIMCET for admission.
