Hi Gaurav,
Both institutes stand in top institutes of India. But as it is said old is gold MNIT, Jaipur is a perfect place for study. A good environment of Jaipur Pink City give you the comfort. MNIT has better infrastructure, better facilities, better faculty, more funding, more exposure for students etc. So go for MNIT. Apart from that focus on branch.

Both Food processing and industrial design are different. So it solely depend on you that if you are interested to know the techniques behind food processing as well as gain knowledge for it then just move on for food processing engineering in NIT Rourkela. It is a new branch started in NIT Rourkela and very soon it has gained tremendous popularity in the mean time. It has hold a good placement record instead of a new branch.
