Dear Sarthak,
Admission to B.Sc Chemistry is not usually provided by NITs, as most of the NITs deal with engineering and technology courses like B.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD in scientific disciplines. But if you wish to study Chemistry in an NIT, you should see if there is an integrated M.Sc or dual-degree programme in Chemistry available. Entry to such courses is commonly through entry tests such as IIT JAM or JEE Advanced, based on the particular course pattern of the institute.
All the very best for this, and I hope this helps

NIT Fees Structure for Engineering
Fees structure is also seen in the other fields of education. Moreover, any such activities include the fees structure at National Institutes of Technology (NIT) in India regarding various B.Tech programs. While varying across institutes, this would cover almost every aspect—from tuition to hostel fees and mess charges. The fees for a 4-year B.Tech program, for example, vary between several NITs.
With this context, it tells how much varies and generally varies from institute policies to those barrier charges for particular student groups. Thus, generally, reserved category candidates have charges less

It could be difficult to get a spot in the most coveted branches at prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs) with an All India Rank (AIR) of 89,311 in JEE Mains. You might however have an opportunity to be admitted to some NITs especially those that are more recent or have less in demand branches.
Every year admission deadlines change depending on a number of variables, including category reservations, seat availability and applicant volume Participating in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling procedure is advised as it allows you to examine your possibilities according to your rank and preferences Your op

Since their cutoffs are usually substantially lower, it may be difficult to gain admission to premier branches of prestigious NITs, IIITs or GFTIs if you are a female candidate with an EWS rank of 17,000 in JEE Main However there can be openings in more recent or less popular disciplines and institutions.
For example the JEE Main cutoff for students in the General category in 2024 was 93.2362181 percentile, whereas the cutoff for candidates in the EWS group was marginally lower.
Certain more recent NITs, IIITs or GFTIs might have higher closing ranks which might accommodate your EWS rank, even if the precise cutoffs for each institution

Being an OBC candidate with an All India Rank (AIR) of 89,000 in JEE Main may make it difficult to get into the more prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs), whose cutoffs usually fall between 1,000 and 15,000 for OBC applicants.
The cutoff ranks for more recent or less sought-after NITs, however may be higher and could accommodate your rank. In the past for example certain NITs have admitted applicants with ranks higher than 70,000.
It's crucial to remember that cutoffs change every year depending on a variety of factors, including the quantity of candidates, seat availability and overall exam performance. Because it offe

For the candidates under the PWD category to join NITs, the cut-off score varies with branch and institute. For Computer Science & Engineering under the OPEN-PwD category, usually a GATE score of approximately 341 is required. Apart from this, the candidates usually have to target a rank close to 1500 under the general-PWD category in order to get a seat in some of the NITs, while scores are a little lower for the OBC and SC/ST PWD candidates. Thus, aiming for a score of over 500 can improve admission opportunities in various branches.

With a CRL rank of 1,078,628 and an EWS rank of 139,272, it is extremely unlikely that competitive branches such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering will be obtained in NITs or GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes), since the cutoffs for such branches are typically below 50,000 for most NITs and 30,000 for premier GFTIs. Yet, you can still have hope in lower-demand branches such as Civil Engineering or Biotechnology in a few NITs or GFTIs, based on your particular category and state quota. You can still look into options through JoSAA counseling in subsequent rounds.
