Yes, after assessing the application of international applicants, NIT Australia conducts an interview with the applicant via Skype or Google Hangout to verify the eligibility of the applicants. After this, the successful applicants are going to issue a letter of offer with the terms and conditions and fee details. Then, the applicants are required to accept the offer of admission and deposit the initial student fees. Once students have met the conditions of the admission offer and have paid the required fees, NIT Australia will issue the Confirmation of Enrolment.

Admission to M.Tech in Computer Science at IITs and NITs depends on GATE scores, with top IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kanpur requiring scores between 750-850, while newer IITs like IIT Indore and IIT Mandi have cutoffs around 700-750. Top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, and NIT Surathkal usually have cutoffs between 700-800, while others like NIT Calicut and NIT Silchar range from 668-709. To choose the right institute, compare your GATE score with previous cutoffs, consider factors like faculty and placements, and check official institute websites for updates.

With a JEE Main percentile of 90, a rank of 144,411, and  Economically Weaker Section (EWS) rank of 24,000 securing admission to top-tier National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) may be challenging, especially for higher branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). But you can actively participate in counseling process which can enhance your chances of securing a seat in a good engineering program.
