Some NITs have lower cutoff scores than others, so you may get in better if you apply to less competitive NITs. It is advisable to target for certain branches or specializations that have lower demand, leading to a lower cutoff score.

With a 2.2 Lacs CRL rank in JEE Mains as an open female candidate, admission in core branches of high NITs may not be possible. But you might get a chance in lower-ranked NITs or in such branches as Metallurgy, Production, or Biotechnology under Female and Home State Quota.

With an ST category rank of 2,821 and Andhra Pradesh being your home state, it might be difficult to get a seat in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch in the top 15 NITs. ECE admission cutoffs in top NITs are very competitive, and generally, students with lower category ranks have better prospects.

With an ST category JEE Main rank of 5000+ and a JEE Advanced prep rank of 2000+, the possibilities of getting a seat in a top IIT or NIT are subject to cutoffs, seat availability, and branch choice. Admission to IITs is competitive, but new IITs such as IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Jodhpur, or IIT Dhanbad can be accessed for some branches. NITs such as NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, or NIT Surathkal might be possible for branches like Civil or Metallurgy. Verify JoSAA cutoffs and attend counseling rounds for better opportunities. Use branch vs. institute preference while choosing.

With a PwD rank of 1,537 in JEE Main, you may have a chance at NITs like Patna, Jamshedpur, and Andhra Pradesh in branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. Cutoffs vary yearly, so it's best to participate in counseling and consider multiple options. Keep an eye on official JoSAA cutoffs for the latest updates.

Your rank in JEE in the OBC NCL category is 29041; you may or may not find admission in a few of the NITs, but more probably in the lower-ranked NITs or in the less favored branches in the NITs since your rank is a bit higher in comparison to the OBC NCL cutoff in top NITs; try and look for specific cut-offs in each of the NITs and each branch to view your possibility.
