For OBC category students under the Home State quota, the last round closing rank for CSE admission was 6055 in 2025. For the same BTech specialisation, the cutoff rank was 5077 in 2024, while in 2023, it was 4924. It was evident by looking at the cutoff ranks over the years that the competition has increased.

Yes, NIT Warangal has a home state quota for students who have completed their Class 10th and Class 12th education from within the state. For the BTech admission, the JEE Main Round 1 cutoff 2025 has been released for different categories, including OBC under the HS quota. For the first round, the closing ranks ranged between 1241 and 14265 for the OBC category students belonging to the HS quota. For the OBC category students under the AI quota, the Round 1 cutoffs were between 632 and 9587. NIT Warangal cutoff 2025 has been released for the first round. The cutoff was released for candidates seeking admission to MSc specialisations in the college. Among the General AI category candidates, the round 1 cutoff ranks varied between 267 and 1171. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 428 and 1512. For the SC AI category candidates, the range of cutoff was between 902 and 3782.

NIT Warangal is a public/government college. It was established in 1959. It is ranked 21st under the engineering category according to NIRF 2023. For taking admission in NIT Warangal JEE Mains is taken by the candidate and the admission is based on the merit list released by the college. The Cut offf for taking admission in the NIT Warangal falls under 2415 for general category and cutt off for SC/ST Category is around 2300, and for OBC Category it falls under 2350. So, There are chances that one can get admision with the rank between 2400 and 2500.

Going as per the past three year trends candidates can expect the closing ranks for NIT Warangal JEE Main cutoff 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment for top specialisations between the following range for General Category students:
- B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is between 6644 and 16987
- B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering is between 4291 and 5148
- B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is between 1082 and 2075

Opening and Closing rank for NIT Warangal cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 8050 and closing rank was 9265 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 11678 and 12121. Admission to Electrical Engineering in NIT Warangal is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs

NIT Warangal JEE Main Round 6 cutoff has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per NIT Warangal cutoff 2023, JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 9265 for General category candidates in All India quota for Electrical Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 12121 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
