NIT Warangal is the 1st NIT in the country.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed this year in my course. The highest package is 56 LPA in EEE and 88 LPA overall. The average package is 15 LPA in EEE and 12 LPA overall. Top recruiting companies for my course are L&T, Bosch, AMD, Qualcomm, Honeywell, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, AWS, Deloitte, Mastercard, etc. About 70% of students got internships in companies like L&T, Bosch, AMD, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc. The top role offered in this course is SDE.
Infrastructure: Average facilities and infrastructure are available for our course. The college is very old and the department is one of the primary branches here. Wi-Fi is available. The library offers many books, and labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are moderate.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They all are PhD graduates from IITs. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very old actually it needs to be upgraded but it makes students industry-ready as students learn everything by themselves here. Semester exams are very hard in college. The pass percentage is 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course to crack a government job actually as the EEE branch has a high scope in government jobs. We have a secure and happy stressful job in the government whether it be state or central government. I would like to improve the course curriculum and make it up to date which would be suitable for today's generation and industry standards. We have plenty of events, fests, and good extracurricular activities on campus including clubs.

Fair review of a student.
Placements: The highest package is 52 LPA, the average package is 20 LPA, and the median package is around 15 LPA. Placements are pretty good and provide good opportunities for students who want to join top companies without any doubt. Nearly 85% of students get placed here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with good facilities for sports and academics. LAN ports are available for connection to the public Ethernet, which is unlimited. Various events are well-organized on our campus, and different clubs provide different opportunities.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and have very good experience. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are very difficult on our campus, and we have to study more than enough to score well in the end-semester exams on campus.

Review about NIT Warangal.
Placements: At NIT Warangal, the placement session takes place yearly once. Many students get placed with decent packages based on their skills. Especially in the branch, the percentage of students placed in the last academic year is 91%, which is very high. Placements are the main reason why students opt for NIT Warangal.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is not so good. The hostel rooms are very old, and bathrooms are very dirty and smell so bad. Lifts in the hostel do not work properly, which troubles students staying on the top floors. The mess food tastes very bad most of the time in the week. The infrastructure of classrooms and library is very good.
Faculty: The curriculum here is not student-friendly regarding attendance. Rules for attendance are very harsh. Coming to teachers, they are qualified enough, but their explanation skills are not impressive, so many students feel bored. Regarding exams, each subject carries 100 marks, with the division of 10 marks for attendance, 40 marks for the end-semester exam, and the rest 50 marks depending on the professor. They may conduct minor and give assignments.
Other: Coming to fests, every year two main and popular fests take place. One is Technozion, and the other is Spring Spree. Spring Spree is a cultural fest, and students enjoy a lot during Spring Spree. Whereas, Technozion is a tech fest, which is a great opportunity for students to show their skills and gain knowledge.

Placements: Around 84% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 67 LPA. The lowest package offered is 10 LPA, and average package offered is 16 LPA. Top companies are Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra, and many famous core companies of India. Top roles include data analyst, backed developer, and many core jobs.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided in our college. In addition, WLAN is provided in each room for faster data reach. Classrooms and labs are well-built with AC. Mess food is tasty and the food street is there on our campus which has a variety of shops. Ambulance is available 24X7 and hospital facilities are available in our college. A wide area of stadium for cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, tennis, gym, basketball, and badminton courts are there on our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members have wide areas of knowledge in their fields. Teaching quality is excellent in our college. Curriculum is greatly relevant to our course. First-year students are being taught extra knowledge of other subjects from other branches. Pass percentage for each subject is 40%. They are moderately easy.
Other: Many clubs are present in our college in which me and all my friends participate every time.

Placements for core branches are very good compared to other NITs but academic pressure is more.
Placements: 90% of eligible students (CGPA>6.5) get placed in my EEE department. The highest package is 50 LPA by Google and the average package is nearly 16 LPA. Roles offered are SDE, DA for software, and GET for core courses. Top recruiting companies in our college are Oracle with a package of 30 LPA, SAP Labs, Google, NPCI, IDFC Bank, Axis Bank, etc.
Infrastructure: For the first year, the hostel charges are 1.8 lakhs as it is well-equipped with LAN, a table, and a cupboard in the room. For the second year, it gives an old block. For the third and fourth years, they have Rs. 1,000 hostels. In college, a badminton court, basketball, and football grounds are available.
Faculty: Almost all teachers in my college are PhD holders and knowledgeable. They lack in skill to explain to students in an easy way. Teaching methodology is very much and for labs writing work is too much especially for the electrical department compared to other departments in our college.

How good is the EEE course at NIT Warangal?

NIT Warangal is one of the top NITs. Electronics is the second most demanding branch after CSE. Therefore, I think taking EEE at NIT Warangal will be a good option if you are not getting CSE in good NITs. Also, take care that you have interest in electronics.
