Polytechnic is a 3-year Diploma course whereas B.Tech is a 4-year degree course. When it comes to better jobs and placements, B.Tech is definitely a better course as compared to Polytechnic.

Yes, you can enroll in B.A. And you will get admitted to second year directly if you are holding a Diploma in Polytechnic.

If you are referring to Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology, Delhi, then the spot round seat allotment process is going on and you cannot register for a fresh admission in mechanical engineering. The seat allotment process at Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology is going on the basis of the Delhi CET entrance test. If you want to apply for this college, you will have to register for the Delhi CET exam for admission to the Diploma programme in mechanical engineering at Guru Nanak College. If you are referring to Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Ludhiana, than the admissions process at this college was completed in May-June 2022.
