The candidate applying for the course must complete 10+2/equivalent examination with minimum 55% aggregate in PCM/PCB. The candidates who have completed a diploma in robotics technology or automation technology can also apply for this course through lateral entry. Along with these requirements the candidates are to appear for entrance examinations to get admitted into robotics engineering course.

BS degree in robotics engineering, computer engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering allows graduates to work in robotics engineering. A Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is necessary for many advanced and managerial positions.

To study in USA, you must take the SAT or the ACT, it is a standardized test for admissions to US colleges. You must also take the TOEFL to meet the English language requirements.
