The duration of Hertfordshire University MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics course is one year. This course is a part of the university's Master's programme in Computer Science. Some of the reasons to choose this course are:
- Accredited by the British Computer Society enabling the graduates to register at the Chartered Institute for IT
- Students are going to have one-year industry placement option enabling students to gain real-world industrial experience

To take admission to this course, the applicants should have a Good Honors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science

Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the level of graduation in B.Sc. or B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects of study completed from a recognized institute or university.
Candidates waiting for their final years exam results can also apply for this course on a provisional basis.
A number of institutes in the country prefer students with professional experience in the field.
