Hi,
It is of course new NIT at Puducherry. But, there is really lots of things special in new ones (NITs) and the things you may never get anywhere else. Small institution so the opportunities are extremely high when compared to any other old NITs. I have to mention that faculty is highly knowledgeable. The best known fact everyone is aware of, is that since the beginning of NIT Puducherry there has been 0% ragging which is completely opposite of any other Institute in India. Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is an entrance exam conducted to get admissions in engineering colleges organized by the Andhra Pradesh State board. The cutoff rank for Civil engineering in JNTU, Kakinada is 3.5k. But your rank is around 7k which is very high. So you probably can't get in JNTUK. There are many other colleges where you can get admissions

Considering that u are a general quota student if u are having a rank somewhat between 5000 to 8000 then u have a good chance of getting CSE in NMIT.
And if ur rank is between 8000 to 10000 then you can get ISE if u want
And if ur rank is between 8000 to 10000 then you can get ISE if u want
