Mainly kattankulathur is the famous campus of SRM University known for their placements specially from CSE so it's a highly demanded branch in SRM University kattankulathur campus. So there will be a tough competition to get into CSE in kattankulathur campus. Even aspirants of SRMJEEE with a decent rank won't get CSE in kattankulathur campus because there is 1140 seats in computer Science and engineering at kattankulathur campus so it's impossible to admit all the Aspirants in CSE at kattankulathur
