While Metro Institute offers vocational training courses only, it offers a lot of social activities for the students enrolled with it. There is a library, access to computers and wireless network, break out area and kitchen. Besides this, the institute organises full-day trips within the city, weekend trips outside Sydney and sports activities. This means that along with networking and enjoying, you will also be able to pursue your hobbies. As there are lot of avenues to engage, you can also find like-minded peers and form a club or group of people to organize events for people who share similar interests.

It depends on your budget, career goals, and interests. A BA course abroad will give you more career options, higher salary chance, and more networking options, but at the same time, it is also very expensive, can take a toll on your mental health, give you a cultural shock, and so on. I think you should consider all the facts and analyze if it is worth it for you.

Yes, you can work part-time while pursuing your Diploma from the Metro Institute. There is no restriction from the institute; however, your employment cannot be used as an excuse to be absent in the classes or why you did not appear for the required tests/examinations or other activities. You need to manage your work and studies smartly so that you get the desired qualification for the course that you intend to pursue from Metro Institute. You must present coherent, and logical reasons behind switching your academic fields in your SOP. Discuss your compelling reasons for choosing to change your academic field, and mention why you left your undergraduate subject.
