There is no reason why you can't. But, also you must have relevant education background, have good grades, LOR, SOP etc.

Varies from programme to programme and university to university, and also on the course level. Normally, for UG courses you will require 6 with no section less than 5.5. For PG, you will normally require 6.5 with no section less than 6.

Don't know what age has to do with this. If he has the relevant background, good academics, valid test scores and meet other requirements he can. If there is any gap he must justify or have work experience. Depends on whether or not he meets admission criteria on the whole.

Your IELTS is fine, you must check the cut-offs on university websites, the requirements are different with different universities and different programs. Besides, the IELTS you must check your education profile, do you have sufficient percentile, relevant background etc.

It depends on your interest and how you convince the university. The combination is confusing, if you had to study nursing then why did you do MBA and invest so much? And, now after doing MBA why on earth you want to do nursing? Figure out your career plans, a solid justification will be required.

You have to check on their website and write to them, as for most PG programmes the intake is usually on September.

Yes of course, you don't need experience for a MS courses. It is required for MBA. You can check universities in Australia and New Zealand. There are many programme options and post study work options are good. You can also try US and UK.
