Such universities tend to possess physical education departments in place, decent infrastructure and even provide pertinent entrance tests / merit list acceptance in line with your Class 12th grades. Their individual eligibility criteria for the BPEd may vary and it is always good to check whether they have certain age limits as well as the level of sports played.

No, a student who has passed 10+2 (intermediate) will be not eligible to directly apply to the Odisha B.Ed entrance examination in 2025 (academic year). As mentioned in the eligibility criteria of Odisha B.Ed, in case of the general category, candidates have to pass B.Sc. or Master degree examination in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities with 50 percent marks and 45 percent marks in case of OBC, SC, and ST as-well. Bachelor degree is also mandatory among the stuents undertaking a course in engineering or technology at Bachelor degree level with some specialisations. Thus, it is not just the intermediate qualification.
