TNEA 2026 supplementary counselling will be held in September. For TNEA counselling the applicants are grouped based on their rank and each group of applicants is allowed to participate in counselling according to their turn. TNEA 2026 counselling will have 4 rounds. The applicant has to login into the TNEA portal by using his/her user ID and Password (same as that used at the time of registration) for performing various activities in a particular round. TNEA 2026 general counselling will start in July 2026 and will end in September 2026. Candidates whose names appear in the rank list will have to appear for the counselling rounds. The counselling rounds include Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to College/TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation. TNEA 2026 Random Number will be out in June 2026. Registered candidates have to sign in by entering login Id/email Id and password to view their unique random number allotted by the authority. The conducting body also informs all the registered candidates about the assigned random number of TNEA 2026 through SMS. The random number will be a 10 digit number that will be allotted to the candidates randomly. Candidates have to verify their documents at TFCs as per their assigned TNEA random number.

TNEA 2024 BArch registration begins on May 6, 2024. The BArch registration dates has not been notified yet. The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will start the BTech and BArch application process forTNEA 2024 in May tentatively. TNEA 2024 counselling process includes registration, assignment of random numbers, certificate verifications, rank list publication, and finally the counselling. Based on the information I found, it is difficult to predict whether you will get CSE, IT or EC in a good Chennai college with 170.96 (OC) cut off for TNEA 2021. However, you can check the cut off trends of previous years for different colleges in Chennai to get an idea of the cut off required for admission. I hope this helps! Admission for 65% of the seats at SSN is done through the single window counselling as per Anna University norms. These seats at SSN are filled up within the first few days of counselling with significantly high cut-off marks. The remaining 35% of the seats of the management quota are also filled on merit. Further TNEA is a counselling process instead of an entrance exam and other states students are also eligible for TNEA. So Fillup the TNEA registration form online and participate in counselling.
