Yes, fellowships are awards awarded based on merit, either internally or externally. Fellowships are generally awarded to graduate students to support their postgraduate studies or research without having them the need to pay any service (teaching/research assistantship) to the university/institution where they are enrolled.

Scholarship is a type of award that is either awarded on a merit basis or a need basis. Students who are good at studies and need financial aid to support their studies are generally considered for scholarships. Scholarships often include a fixed amount of funds/stipend that is provided either once or in different instalments directly/indirectly to the educational institutions. This amount of scholarship can only be used towards university/school expenses requested for. Only a few scholarships also include expenses to cover the living expenses of students putting up in a foreign country.

Stipend on the other hand is a fixed income

No, despite having some similarities, stipends and fellowships are not the same. Both the fellowships and stipends are forms of financial support for individuals in academic settings but neither is always considered regular employment compensation. Both can be included in fellowship programs, with stipends often being a component of fellowship funding.

To find the CGPA equivalent of 75% marks, we can use the common conversion formula:

CGPA = Percentage / 9.5

So, for 75% marks, CGPA = 75 / 9.5? 7.89

Therefore, a CGPA of approximately 7.89 corresponds to 75% marks.

A 7.6 CGPA is equivalent to 72.2%.

To calculate the percentage, the following CGPA to percentage conversion formula is applied:

Percentage = CGPA * 9.5

So, for a 7.6 CGPA:

Percentage = 7.6 * 9.5 = 72.2%

To convert SGPA to percentage, you generally need to multiply your SGPA by 10 and then subtract 7.5 from it. Hence, the SGPA to percentage conversion formula is:

Percentage = (SGPA * 10) - 7.5

However, this conversion method can vary depending on the specific university or institution's grading scale. It's always best to consult your university's guidelines or academic office for an accurate conversion formula.

A 9.5 CGPA in percentage would be:

Percentage = CGPA * 9.5 = 9.5 * 9.5 = 90.25%

So, a 9.5 CGPA in percentage is 90.25%.

Similarly, a 7.6 CGPA in percentage would be:

Percentage = CGPA * 9.5 = 7.6 * 9.5 = 72.2%

So, a 7.6 CGPA in percentage is 72.2%.

The formula to convert CGPA into Percentage for engineering is the same as the CBSE's formula for converting CGPA to percentage, i.e. Percentage = CGPA * 9.5. However, some institutions incorporate multiplying your CGPA by 10 in this formula. Check your university's results and score calculation guidelines to know which one is the accepted value for conversion of your CGPA into percentage.

To convert CGPA to percentage, multiply your CGPA by 9.5. For example, if your CGPA at the end of a semester is 8.9474, your percentage would be 85%. This formula helps you understand your performance in terms of the traditional percentage scale.

For example, to convert a 7.6 CGPA into percentage, you must multiply the same by 9.5 as given below.

Percentage: CGPA * 9.5 = 7.6 * 9.5 = 72.2 %

However, it must be noted that some universities also recommend multiplying the CGPA with 10.0 to get the percentage. Check out which of the above two does your university accept (either 9.5 or 10) before converting your CGPA to percentage to get
