Getting into one of the Ivy League universities is extremely competitive. As the admission decisions are taken based on a holistic approach, you must be an all-rounder and excel academically, as well as in activities outside class to secure an admission. Some extracurricular criteria such as community involvement,  leadership and distinction in extra-curricular activities,  character,  personal qualities and more also play a very important role.

It is important that applicants schedule their OFC and visa appointments on different dates. Both the processes cannot happen on the same date because of logistical reasons also. Applicants must ensure there is a signficant gap but every process is followed in order that is, complete US visa biometric (OFC) process and then go for the scheduled US student visa interview.

After completing the US visa biometric process or OFC formalities, applicants will have to attend their student visa interview. Applicants cannot attend the US student visa interview till all the formalities have been completed.

Offically, there is no specified days mentioned between OFC and visa appointments. Howver, applicants must not to schedule both on the same day. As there can be a conflict and applications can be rejected at the first stage.

Applicants going for OFC visa appointment should go for formal clothing only. Since this is a part of the formal student visa in USA, it is always better to take it formally and be careful always.

At campus health centers, using student insurance is usually simple. The health center typically has your insurance information on file for university-sponsored plans; just show your student ID when you check-in. Compared to off-campus care, some services might be completely covered or have lower copays. If you have an external insurance plan, make sure the campus health center accepts your coverage and bring your insurance card to appointments. Although many centers can bill major insurance companies directly, they always make sure they are part of the network. While more complex services necessitate processing insurance, some centers

In health insurance routine dental and vision care is either not covered at all or only partially by the majority of standard student health insurance plans in the United States. Also, plans which are sponsored by universities usually only pay for emergency dental care for conditions like serious infections or accidents. Students typically require additional dental and vision insurance plans for routine care such as cleanings, fillings, eye exams, or glasses. For an extra fee ($15–30 per month), some insurers provide these as supplements to the basic health coverage. This restriction should be especially noted by international studen

In the USA, students who do not have health insurance can suffer quite a lot. It might be against university regulations and visa requirements for international students, which could have an impact on your academic standing and immigration status. The majority of colleges can automatically charge uninsured students to their tuition bills and can enroll them in their plans.
