VIT Vellore Cutoff 2025: Check VITEEE, CAT Previous Years Cutoff Trends

VIT Vellore accepts VITEEE cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BTech specialisations. However, the authorities did not release the VIT Vellore VITEEE 2024 cutoff online, and it was only accessible to candidates who appeared for the entrance exam. VIT Business School admisison for MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT. It also considers personal interview and academic merit. Work experience works as an added advantage during the final selection. Candidates are evaluated based on eligibility, entrance exam scores and their performance in PI rounds. 

Entrance exam is not required for admission to BBA in VIT Vellore, as the admission is entirely merit based and counselling. A pass in regular, full-time UG/ Integrated degree from a recognised institute/ university of at least three years duration with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST candidates and applicants belonging to Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) is required to apply for the MBA course. 

Additionally, the institute shortlists candidates for MBA course based on national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT, ATMA. The shortlisted aspirants are further required to come for the PI round. Vellore Institute of Technology will also consider the academic performance and work experience of the candidates for final selection.

No, a minimum of Class 12 with at least 60% in PCM is required to apply for VIT Vellore BDes programme. However, there is relaxation in percentage for SC/ ST and students from North-Eastern states. Check below the detailed eligibility:

• Indian nationals/ Non-resident Indian National can apply for BDes course.
• Candidates should have passed Class 12 or Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised board/ university or its equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects to apply for BDes.
• Students who have appeared for Class 12 finals and awaiting results can also apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.

Note: In case, applicants belong to SC/ST community or hail from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, 10% relaxation is provided.

Yes, candidates who have completed a UG Diploma in any stream are eligible for BSc admission at VIT Vellore University. Candidates will need a minimum score of 50% for Hospitality and Hotel Administration and 60% for Multimedia & Animation and Visual Communication. There is no mention of Diploma passing candidates being eligible for BSc (hons) in Agriculture or Computer Science.

The Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam was scheduled for April 28, 2026 and May 3, 2026. Applicants had to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. 

IIT Bombay declared the results of UCEED 2025 on March 7, 2025. The results were announced for all candidates who appeared in the design entrance exam. However, merit ranks were released only for those who qualified Part A and were shortlisted. Part B answer booklets of candidates who failed to qualify Part A were not evaluated. The qualifying marks for Part A were released around the time of the result declaration.
