1. Placements are good.
2. Faculty members have excellent subject knowledge.
3. Class room facility is also good.
4. Hostel rooms are good, but there are strict rules for hostel students.
5. You can't expect any industrial visit apart from HR department.
6. Major advantage is that you can get dual program.
7. There is a fully flexible credit system for students so that they can choose their class timings and faculty.
8. Apart from studies various club activities are organised.
9. Cultural activities are very good.

In VIT, there are categories that decide fee structure for each rank. There are five categories such as 1,2,3,4 and 5 and each category differs in fee structure by one lakh.

The fee will be atleast Rs 4-5 lakhs per annum if he can pay that money then he can go.
