The majority of engineering schools and universities allow for straight lateral entry into the second year of the B.Tech degree. A minimum percentage (often 60%) in a relevant engineering Diploma is typically one of the eligibility requirements. Depending on the institution, admissions may be determined by merit or by an entrance exam. To find out the precise qualifying requirements and application process, contact the college or university in question.
