B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 90% of students got placed, and the placement drive is still going on this year. The highest package in the overall college now is 47.5 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5-6 LPA. These packages are approximate only, as the drive is still going on. Various companies are hiring, especially Amazon, Microsoft, Zoho, TCS, Google, Capgemini, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. Almost 90% of students got internships in the same companies listed above. Software engineer and application developer are the top roles offered for the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. They have many labs, every classroom and lab, and almost everywhere on campus, Wi-Fi is available. The central library has all the reference books and extra books for all courses. The first years are having their very own separate building. Others have classrooms in their respective department blocks. In this way, they are making the first years more comfortable.
Faculty: As with all colleges, we can't expect all the faculty to be the best. Some are the very best, some may be normal, some may be boring, some may be very friendly, and some may be strict. It depends on the faculty only. The curriculum is one of the best. They are updating the curriculum once every 4 years. They have all the essential topics in that curriculum.
Other: In this college, they are providing scholarships based on your cutoff marks. So do check it and apply it. It will be very useful. They will celebrate all the festivals regardless of religion. Every event will be very joyful. One important thing is, don't expect faculty to push you to study and conduct class tests regularly. It depends on the faculty. They will come and teach you and go. If you have any doubts or anything else, you can contact them in a very friendly way. You only have to study if you want to score high.

B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026

Well-equipped campus with supportive faculty and good practical exposure.
Placements: Batch details: The civil engineering batch had around 70 students. Most of them are actively involved in academic projects, internships, and field visits. Placement percentage: Around 65-75% of the eligible students were placed through campus recruitment. The average package stood at 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA, while the lowest is around 2.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Sobha Developers, Tata Projects, and JSW Infra, which recruited students. Nearly 70-80% of the students completed internships. Top roles offered are selected as site engineers, design engineers, BIM modelers, and planning engineers.
Infrastructure: The civil department has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, modern labs, and a resourceful library. Hostels are clean with 24/7 water, Wi-Fi, and decent mess food. Medical support is available on campus. Sports like cricket, basketball, gym, and indoor games are offered.
Faculty: Faculty members in the civil engineering department are highly qualified, approachable, and explain concepts using real-life applications. Teaching involves smart classrooms, field visits, and lab sessions. Many also guide students in research and projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult but fair. With consistent preparation and internal assessment, most students perform well. The average pass percentage is around 85-90%, and students are encouraged through remedial classes if needed.
Other: I chose civil engineering out of a passion for infrastructure and design. The best parts are practical labs, site visits, and supportive faculty. More industry tie-ups would help. The campus has a vibrant crowd, tech fests, good transport, and extracurricular activities.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

Absolutely good faculty, placements, and infrastructure with facilities.
Placements: Students in my B.E. Engineering course at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology get placed. The highest percentage score is above 95%, and the lowest is around 50%. The average percentage is below 50%. Companies like Google hire engineers from here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection is very good in my college, and we have AC labs and high-tech infrastructure. The classrooms are also high-tech, providing a peaceful study. The hostel and food quality are excellent. Medical facilities, sports, and games receive extra care. The mess and canteen are hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and experienced mentors who help students gain knowledge. The college curriculum is relevant. Students are very interested in going for internships. It is very tough to study, and since my college is autonomous, semester exams are a little difficult to pass.
Other: I am choosing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering. My aim is to become a software engineer, so I am choosing this course. I learn many new things in the CSE course. It is very good.

Review of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: As I am currently a final-year chemical engineering student at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, this college has a good placement record in colleges around Coimbatore. On average, 90% of students in our department get placed in core companies. The average CTC is 4.5 LPA, and the maximum CTC is 8.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure and is well-known as a green campus. It also has a good Wi-Fi facility overall on the campus. Every department has its own library, other than that of the central library. The campus is very neat and clean in it.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are very friendly enough to clear your doubts every time. The curriculum is more related to industry aspects, and the Board of Studies focuses on framing the curriculum related to industry. The semester exams are mostly based on application and understanding-based questions.

KPR is the best choice. All facilities that you need to outshine as an engineer are a single roof.
Placements: They start making you industry-ready from the 3rd year itself, with excellent placement training from internal and external placement guides and experts. The highest package received in my batch is 40 LPA, and students get internship offers from many prestigious organizations.
Infrastructure: Upgraded labs. All kinds of facilities in a single place. Hostels are very good, surrounded by the natural environment that makes it more admirable and feels like home. The hostel provides full safety and support.
Faculty: Teachers here are easy to approach, and they are always ready to support and help students in all aspects. They follow a mentor-mentee system through which every student in a class gets full support from the faculty members. In every semester, there are two continuous internal assessments followed by end-semester exams. Industry-driven curriculum, training in new technologies.

Review about KPRIET, Coimbatore.
Placements: Placements are very good in the college as well as in the department of chemical engineering. The batch I am passing out with is 2025, and I am doing an internship in an MNC in Bangalore. The average package for the department is 6.5 LPA, and higher studies coaching is also provided, like GATE and foreign language courses available.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are very good, and the infrastructure is very good in the college. The environment for learning is very good, and student engagement in many activities other than studies is also encouraged. Additionally, the hostel is very protective and safe for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are student-friendly, and the curriculum is designed based on students' practical knowledge. Exams are conducted twice per year, the end-semester exam and the 2 CIAT exams conducted for each semester, which serve as continuous assessments of students' learning of the subject.
Other: Overall, the experience in the college is very good and nice.
