Very good placements in 2026. It has decent lab facilities, an average hostel, & sports facilities.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech IT 2022-2026 batch at Chennai Institute of Technology. Around 95% of students got placed. Packages range from 4 LPA to 60 LPA, with an average of 8-10 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Zoho, JMAN Groups, Capgemini, and Accenture. Internships and SDE, Full Stack Developer, and Cloud roles are widely offered.
Infrastructure: There is no specific lab for IT. In CIT, we have common labs for all the departments. Hostel facilities are average, and the food quality is also average. Basic medical and sports facilities are available. Overall, It is not too bad, but it needs improvements.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Most skills can be attained only by self-learning. The staff will help in whatever way they can. The curriculum is very relevant and can help students learn the current trends. The semester exams are tough, but the evaluation will be very easy and lethargic.

If you want to succeed, choose CIT.
Placements: More than 85% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered was 51 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Amazon and Microsoft are some of the reputed companies where students have been placed. The software developer role is offered the most.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure needs to be improved, as the food is below average. Computer labs are very good as compared to other standards, and they are well-maintained too. Especially the centre of excellence has a very good potential, and they are using it very well.
Faculty: Faculty members are always friendly and ready to help. Sometimes they may make harsh calls, but it happens everywhere, and one can tolerate, but the hostel faculty members, i.e., wardens, are mostly strict. They are also highly qualified and we can ask any type of doubts to them. They are very best.

A college that will change you!
Placements: I am from B.Tech. in Information Technology 2026. The placement opportunities are good, with several reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Students also have access to internship opportunities to get into their dream companies. There are interviews for many roles like SDE, SWE, Cloud Engineer, AI, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has computer labs, smart classrooms, and other digital resources to refer. The campus provided a good space for sports like cricket and football, which keeps students more engaged after classes. Hostel facilities are decent, and the canteen offers decent food with good space to eat, along with shade.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and friendly to help us whenever we need. The curriculum covers core concepts and keeps changing according to the industry requirements to become job-ready. Semester exams are easy to crack with correct preparation and consistent practice.

Review of Chennai Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement in our college is very good, and every student can get a job with an average package of 10 LPA. Also, they placed 95% last year, and they signed documents with international job opportunities such as Japan, Taiwan, and so on.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, and our management is trying to build the last infrastructure within one year. We have enough activities such as sports, libraries, labs, classrooms, hostels, and everything is sufficient, and there are no conjunction or space difficulties.
Faculty: The teachers were so helpful and knowledgeable, and they are 100 percentage qualified and trusted teachers. Students are not facing any difficulties while preparing for semester exams. The management trained them before the exam, and they really perform very well.
Other: Takshashila is our cultural name, and it will be a super duper event.

Very good placements and higher studies opportunities with well-equipped labs and facilities.
Placements: The placements for both core and software are very good. The college also starts training us for placements in the early semesters itself. They train us based on our preferences and interests. The placement training they provide is what helps us to crack the interviews.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good for the crowd it holds, and the labs and the research facilities are also well-equipped with industry-trained professionals guiding us. The hostel facilities are also good, helping the students with a very good environment away from their homes.
Faculty: Faculty members and other staff are very supportive throughout our college journey. They guide us in all aspects of academics and help us pursue our interests. The faculty members are very well-trained, and they also have many years of teaching experience, which makes them better at guiding and teaching the students.

Good learning experience with practical exposure and active campus life.
Placements: I have felt that 5 ratings are not enough to give for our college placements. They give vast opportunities from the 2nd year itself from hackathons to daily training programs. They guide us and help us to secure a good position in an MNC with good packages. I have been placed in the HCL company which was not my domain but I have a great knowledge in the IT field also so what I'm coming to say is we have learned interdisciplinary fields to enrich our knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure, such as smart boards, projectors, and Wi-Fi facilities, so that we can learn freely and peacefully. We also have separate labs for each subject like medical instrumentation, Biopac, microprocessor, and anatomy. The hostel facilities are good and they provide a variety of meals regularly. The campus also provides facilities for sports and games such as indoor and outdoor courts encouraging students to stay physically active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department are helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of the professors are well-qualified and have more than 2 years of experience in teaching their skills. The curriculum is relevant to our field and it includes both theoretical and practical sessions. The semesters are moderately difficult. The students who can attend the classes regularly and prepare well from the syllabus can manage the exam without fear and difficulty. The pass percentage is quite good and most of the students will leave the college with good internal and CGPA.
Other: The infrastructure, library resources and academic support help students gain a strong foundation in the field. The learning experiences justify the course fee to a good extent. The campus environment is friendly and we can study together and discuss after college ends. Our college conducts a national-level technical symposium and a cultural fest called Takshashila for 3 days. These activities help the students to relax and also develop leadership skills.
