These days, admission is only through CET or JEE. The only other way is to bid for management quota for direct admissions.

Hello Manthan,
Admission requirements vary from university to university. Top universities however requires a minimum of 75% to qualify for admission. Proficiency in English language is also required. A minimum of 6 in IELTS and 64 in TOEFL IBT is required. IELTS and TOEFL requirements may be waived off for candidates who were studying in the High School or at the University where English was language of instruction. Some universities require letters of recommendation, personal essays and other documents, listed on their websites. Brunel University is among the top 30 for mechanical engineering and related programmes in UK. Hence, it is a good choice and if you get admitted, you can go ahead with this university.

Hello Aditya,
Germany is a great place to pursue PG. However, every University has its own yardstick and it is better, if you check about your prospective university. They also look for your academic performance. If you have a convincing answer for low performance in UG level, it can be ignored.

To become an automobile engineer you have to pursue B.Tech in mechanical engineering or automobile engineering. After mechanical engineering you can also go for M.Tech in automobile engineering. This will help you in becoming an automobile engineer.

Hi Mohan Krishna,
Since German universities are extremely selective you must be having very high CGPA. More than 75% is required or at least 8 out of 10 is minimum. But different universities have different requirements and selectivity. IELTS score requirements also vary but generally an overall score of 6.5 or 7 with no section less than 6 is required.
