Yes, you can appear for JEE Mains. You must score 75% in your Diploma final exams. Diploma is considered as equivalent to class 12th.

I appreciate your interest in cars. However, you missed mentioning which segment interests you. If you are interested in designing cars, you can opt for B.Des. However, if you are interested in the technical evolution of cars, you can opt for automobile engineering.
