It is very difficult. Lot of factors matters for the final selection. Only CAT percentile does not matter.

Amity University goes through a process of entrance exam and selection through interviews before admission. Firstly, the candidate can apply online which would be followed by Interviews and written examinations that would also demand 10+2 and Bachelors mark sheet.

It also depends on marks you got in JEE. ST category required less marks as the cutoff is low. So all the best.

As per the admission procedure, the 60% of seats are reserved for NE students based on merit ranking in JEE Mains and 40% for the rest through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
The intake also includes admission to students under Self Supported Schemes (SSS) and State Rank Holders of (10+2) Science Examinations of NE States securing above 85% in aggregate.
So, there is no need to give any entrance exam separately for B.Tech programs.

B.Tech admissions in all IITs and NITs are based on JEE advance and JEE Main ranks. Hence, on the basis of engineering Diploma, you cannot get admission in IIT.
