Overall, pretty good college and average placements.
Placements: The placement scenario at college is decent but not extraordinary. The placement cell works hard to bring companies on campus. But the number of opportunities largely depends on the department and your personal efforts. However, the packages are usually in the average range of 4–7 LPA. Attending many workshops, group discussions, and critical thinking exercises encourages the students.
Infrastructure: The faculty of the college is strong; some can improve their teaching. Most professors are experienced and knowledgeable. The quality of the instruction is pretty good. Hostels are not so good, but you can also rent the good nearby PGs. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty good.
Faculty: Semester and mid-semester exams are moderate. The curriculum is well structured and aligned with industry standards. Regular assignments are given. It can also help gauge progress throughout the semester. It is a college that is consistent and fair in its grading system.
Other: No fests are organized here, but definitely a lot of tech events and cultural events are conducted besides the study.

Review of Heritage Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements were quite good and around 80% of students in my branch have passed till now. The highest package is around 45 LPA from Amazon, bagged by an M.Tech student, and the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Tejas Network, etc. Most of the students are placed in tech fields.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent but one drawback is the availability of the hostel for boys. The hostel is only available for girl students. All the departments have well-furnished classrooms. There are three buildings for B.Tech in which classes of different branches run. A Central library is there, fully air-conditioned, and almost all books are available. Almost all sports ground and facilities are there.
Faculty: The course is designed in a good manner and also the teachers have deep knowledge about their subjects. Also, now the course is changing and making it more industry relevant. The exams are on a tougher side but if you study around 1 month before the exam, you'll get a good CGPA. Most of the students pass the exam easily.
Other: One thing I don't like about the college is that the fest is not happening for almost 5 years. Campus life is not that much good and you can't expect NIT and top private colleges like campus life and crowd. Although the fee is very less compared to all other private colleges so it's a decent option for you if you're from Bihar, UP, or WB and not getting any NIT than you can opt for this college.

Average placements but low fee. Overall a decent college.
Placements: The placement of my college is decent not very good but average. As I'm in second year so I can't tell you much about the placements but whatever I've listened from my seniors I'm sharing here. Last year in my course above 90% students got placed with an average package of 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Amazon, Tejas Network. The highest package of last year is around 45 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. You get almost every facilities and things inside the campus. Wi-Fi is in the campus. A Central fully air conditioned library with more than 50000 books is there. One major con is that hostel is only avail for girl students inside the campus not for boys. 3 canteens are there in the college one medical hospital is inside the campus and almost all types of sports is present.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is decent and curriculum is more on tougher side. Teachers are mostly Ph.D. holders and graduated from premier institutes of the country. Now from this year the course has changed making more industry oriented and you've to study atleast a month before the sem exams to get a good CGPA.
Other: The college has a good value for money because the fee of the college is very less compared to other pvt. Colleges. I think if there will be hostels for boys inside the college then it'll be very good and also one drawback is that after covid there is not a single fest has been done. You've all the clubs in the college for extracurricular activities.

Placements were good in past years but now has detoriated a lot. Good infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students from my course got placed in differ companies. Companies like capgemini, cognizant, ey, tcs generally comes along with mindtree, wipro. The packages offered by them varies from 4lpa-7lpa. Almost 100% students from my course got internship in different companies.
Infrastructure: Nothing to say about the campus, probably it is the in the town. Almost all kinds of books are available in the library. Wi-Fi are avail everywhere. Classrooms are huge with proper projector. Though I don't live in the hostel still heard about the good quality of food available there along with neat and clean bedrooms.
Faculty: The teachers are quality and knowledgeable but not that helpful to be honest except few. Yes the course curriculum is very relevant it makes each and every student ready for any industry training. The semester exam are not difficult and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: I haven't seen any fest in my 4 years journey at my college. The college have facilities for everything be it football, cricket, badminton etc. I chose this course because of the less crowd. The faculty members should be improved.

Overall good college with good placement opportunities.
Placements: 80% of students get placed in service based mass recruiter companies like tcs, capegimini, cognizant, etc. With an average salary of 4.25 LPA. 10% of the remaining 20% students get placed in product based company like amazon, oracle with the highest salary of 15 LPA. And 10% are unplaced because of their poor academic performance. Almost 60% students got internship every year.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good and large as compared to any other colleges in Kolkata. Our college has good and well- maintained practical labs, classroom and a big library of 100 students capacity and auditorium for seminars and college events, play ground for sports like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and many sports. Only girls hostel is present inside the campus with food mess. Canteen is also present with affordable price on food.
Faculty: Faculty members are well- qualified and has deep knowledge in their subject with helpful in nature. They always ready to clear doubts of the students. Course curriculum is relevant with the branch and helps student to make industry ready. Semester exam are tough. If the students does not has a good knowledge in the subjects then he or she has to suffer for getting passing marks. Passing percentage is 33%. .
Other: I chose Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering because of its vast scope in coming 1 - 2 years. Our branch mainly deals with automation, IoT, sensor and transducer, dsa, etc. Top companies of our branch is mainly energy and automation based industry like seimens, baker hughes honeywell, DRDO, ONGC, Petroleum industry and many more. Various events, fest, student chapter organised by the college administrations.

Our college has a good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 95% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package that was offered to us was 12 LPA, the lowest salary package was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 6 LPA. The top companies that came for recruitment in our college placements are Wipro, TCS, and Johnson. A few students got internships in our course, but not all. If you want an internship, then you should have knowledge of web development, artificial intelligence, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good Wi-Fi connection, appropriate labs, and classrooms. We have a huge library where you can get almost all types of books. Also, we have a digital library where you can get the previous semester's examination papers. The college professor's video was also uploaded. You can watch them if you missed any classes. Lastly, in hostels, the quality of food is average. But living is better. 24*7 water, electricity, Wi-Fi, nice warden etc. Lastly, everything is best in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our course is curriculum-relevant and makes the students industry-ready. There is no difficulty, even if you read it one week ago. The questions are simple and easy. There a lot of questions are taken from the assignments you submitted during your classes. And the teachers are very cooperative. They always help you. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: Nowadays, this course gives you a lot of opportunities in industrial applications. Practicals in our college are weak, so this should be improved. Our college has good events like Fests, Campus crowds, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarships, Extracurricular Activities, etc., which you have mentioned in the third question are very good. All these things happen.

Overall, it is a good college with good placements in IT.
Placements: There are no placements in the core department. In our batch, only two were placed in the core department with a very low package. Rest were placed in the IT department. Most of them were not placed. In a nutshell, if you want to build your career in the core department, then don't take admission here.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure when compared to other colleges in Kolkata. Canteen is good. They are maintaining hygiene. Food served is very tasty. There is only a girls' hostel on the campus. Hostel is good with a fridge and induction facility.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good and a few are average. Co-curriculum activities are quite good. There are lots of quizzes and other challenges held every month. Exams were also tough. They do not give you marks like other private colleges easily. You have to study hard.
Other: It is an average college.

The placements in our college are not up to the mark.
Placements: Most of the students (about 90%) were placed from our batch by the end of the course. Of that 90%, about 70% were placed through campus placements and the rest bagged off-campus offers. The highest salary package offered was 7.0 LPA (TCS Digital), while the average salary package was around 3.5 LPA. All of these were major IT companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, DXC, Wipro, etc. No core companies came for campus placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is absolutely beautiful, with 3-5 playgrounds for a quick after-class match. Wi-Fi is present but is of absolutely no use. Buildings like ICT and CME have very weak cellphone networks, and we would have no reception most of the time. The laboratories are good, especially the Industrial Instrumentation Lab and Control Systems Lab. The library is really good and has a lot of books available in stock. Small events of sports, games, and music keep taking place throughout the year, but none of them is initiatives from the college. All of them are organised by the students with no support from the college whatsoever. Food in the canteen is good, but it could be cheaper.
Faculty: Teachers are one of the best things about our college. The teaching quality is really good, and the teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum for us could have been better, but now it has changed and modern subjects like AI, Machine Learning, etc. have been introduced, which I believe will be beneficial for the students as instrumentation engineers.
Other: I chose Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering because of the instruments, and I like controlling them. In terms of other activities, the college could be a lot better. The cultural fest (Eclecia) is one of the most popular events in Kolkata, but we have not been allowed to organise it for the last 5 years. The college authorities are to be blamed for this. Connectivity from Ruby to college is a mess, and students like us who rely on public transportation often end up walking down to college from Ruby.
