The college facilities are very good, a nice library and nice labs.

Placements: The placement in this college is good, you can't say very good but placement is 60-70 percent. The average package is 5 LPA. Many companies come for placement. In all, you can say that placement is good. If you are a good student, you will get a good package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The building is nice, with a garden, classrooms, and labs, lacking good equipment. The hostel is average and good. Rooms are nice, with a water cooler, a geyser, and a clean bathroom, and with a camera you will get good security.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is very good, especially the teachers of this branch are very good. They are polite, soft, and gentle they guide you in every way. The HODs are also good. They complete the course within the semester, overall, we can say that they are good.

Other: Events happen every year. I chose this course because in this generation lots of frauds and scams happen. To learn about its safety and many things, I joined this course.

Overall good college with good placement cycle of past year record AES.

Placements: About 66 percent of students got placed from Computer Science and they were more likely to be placed 100 percent off-campus. 70 percent of students got internships off-campus. Top recruiting companies are Infosys and Narula Technologies. Roles offered are back-end developer and co-junior developer.

Infrastructure: Basic amenities like Wi-Fi, library, and science labs are provided with minimal restrictions. The maintenance is top-notch in infrastructure. Hostel quality, newly built with separate beds and all is good. The canteen is the love of my life, which I will remember for my life, the memories I made in the library are loving.

Faculty: Teachers are very professional, and quality of education and technology devices are good. The nature of teachers is healthy, and during my exam cycle there are no backlogs which is best in my case, everything is on track. Semester exams are stressful, and the pass percentage is above 75 percent.

Other: Asansol Engineering College campus is way better than the price we pay, and I am enjoying my course and the best hostel experience I have ever had.

Faculty is knowledgeable, qualified, experienced, and motivating.

Placements: Out of 300+ students, I think only 50 to 100 students get placed on campus. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. TCS, EY, and Cognizant are some of the recruiting companies. 10-20% of students get internships in TCS and other IT companies in the CSE B.Tech course. The roles offered are Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, Cybersecurity Specialist, etc.

Infrastructure: Computer labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library are available. Hostel food is just okay, just to survive on. Medical facilities and first aid are available. Sports and games take place, but you have to be active in that on your own.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, qualified, and motivating. Teachers have many years of teaching experience. Teaching is based on logic and practicality rather than rote learning. The course curriculum is not outdated and is relevant in today's world. The course curriculum teaches you the basics as well as the advanced concepts as you move further. The course definitely makes you industry-ready as it focuses heavily on the practical application of theoretical knowledge. Semester examinations are based on analysing students' understanding of the content taught in class by faculty. Students are informed about what to study before the exam. Faculty have subject knowledge. They have special training sessions to get you job-ready.

Other: I chose this course because of today's world of digital technology, where everything is automated, digital, and practical. Solutions are easily available. Data is collected to get information and conduct experiments. Technologies are evolving and getting better each day. The course could be more job-oriented by actually making us do real-world small jobs after we learn a thing. Instead of waiting 4 years to get a job, we should be made to do small tasks for companies from the 1st year itself, along with teaching us. Events happen and provide us with networking opportunities. Scholarships are available, and there is a good student environment.

This college is good. In place, it means enjoyment every time.

Placements: In my college, I say that for mechanical, the placement is very good. The average package is 4 LPA. In the placement, the branches that give placements are mechanical and electronic communication.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is average. We can say it's good the food quality is average, but the surroundings are awesome. Nice warden, you will have a great experience. I personally suggest students that live one year in hotel, enjoy your life and then go to PG.

Faculty: Great faculty. They are awesome. I don't know about other branch teachers, but the mechanical branch faculty are very good, especially the HOD of the mechanical branch is very good and caring. All teachers will help you in every way, they are polite.

Other: The college is good. There are a lot of fests, events, and scholarships.

A good college to take admission in.

Placements: This year, almost 90% of students got on-campus placements from my department. The packages range from 3.4 LPA to 5 LPA. The companies that recruited more students include Debson Pumps, Pinnacle Infotech, and MM Aqua. Many students already had some internship experience earlier.

Infrastructure: We have a separate mechanical building for our department, where civil and electrical students also attend classes sometimes. We have well-maintained CAD/CAM and other curriculum-related labs. Apart from these, our college has recently opened an AICTE Idea Lab in our building.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty throughout the college are very helpful and understanding. They treat everyone equally. Our course curriculum makes students industry-ready. It helps us gain knowledge in various fields and subjects. Semester exams are a little hard, but not too difficult to worry about.

It is a good private college for local students. It also provides good placement for students.

Placements: When we talk about student placements, around 42%–50% are placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS and L&T. Around 40% of students get internships from this course. The top roles they get are supervisor and site engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough for students in the civil department. When we talk about the hostel, the food is decent, but the canteen facilities are not good enough. Medical facilities and sports are conducted according to time.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and professional. They are well-qualified in their education and are very helpful to us. Semester exams are conducted in a decent way. They provide some kind of suggested questions, some of which may come. A good number of students pass.

Other: I chose this course due to family background. The best thing about this course is that it involves site work. Talking about events and fests, they are held. Scholarships are provided for local people.

Asansol Engineering College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed Diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from any AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least overall 60% marks Or Candidate have passed 10+2 level with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with at least 60% marks. % of Batch placed is as per year 2021.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidates completed M.Sc. In Electronics /Physics (with Electronics special) or equivalent to B.E./B.Tech from any recognised institute/university are also eligible to apply.
MCA	Candidate who qualify eligibility as given below can also apply: Module 4 Candidate must have obtained a BSc Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics. They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognised Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level. Candidate have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education.

With this rank 62727, I think you should go for CSE in ASEC. ASEC is a decent college for CSE with decent faculty and placements. It is much better than Asansol and I am sure about it. Now if you think of going for higher studies you can join AEC but do remember ASEC will have the proximity of Kolk
