Hi Sumit,
To get a good percentage in engineering you need to have a good base in class 12th. If you think you're a bit weak then you can opt for other options, such as, BBA or BCA.
I would recommend that you to go through this link of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and check out all the courses they offer you may find the course that best fits you and would help you choose a new career path entirely. http://www.upes.ac.in

You can actually do. But the problem is correspondence certificate has no value. Try for other college with your 1st PU marks card and TC. You might get some help don't take up correspondence. Sometimes degree Colleges will not accept those certificates.

I think you should go for B.Sc because you have 2 years of gap and the syllabus of B.Tech is li'l bit vast than B.Sc.
You can get many Government and Private Jobs after doing B.Sc.
Just take the right branch in which you are better than others.
