The fee is Rs. 55,000+30,000 = Rs. 85,000 for candidates coming through lateral entry CET.
Lateral Entry for Diploma students to BE is done only through CET in Karnataka, No management seats are allowed.

Good placement is only available in good colleges. For private colleges, you will have to pay higher fees but you can take admission. For Government or aided college, you will have to pass with good score in state level or national level engineering entrance exam to get a good college.

There are Entrance exam for some of the universities. However, he/she will be considered for admission if he/she fulfils the other requirements of admission. I think, yes you are eligible to do M.Sc Maths after B.Tech (ECE), but mostly it depends on the university, where you are going to pursue Master's degree.

Hello Shaily,IIT Roorki is considered as the best institute for civil engineering in India. However, this is subjective and others can have different opinions.

Yes, you may get it, as this year Maths was little bit tough, so according to me it can get up to 997 rank. So, I will suggest you to wait till 3rd round or else go for the spot round too. Hope for the best. Best of luck. Thank you.
