In general, civil engineering is for those who do 10+2 system rather than Diploma. And civil engineering (lateral entry) is for those who have completed Diploma. Lateral entry is admission directly into the second year of engineering. For that, He/she must have completed a Diploma in their respective branch to be eligible for the lateral entry programme. One may also need to clear the entrance exams if required.

This college requires you to at least complete your 12th grade too as they follow the 10+2 system. Also, you might have to give internal assessments too.

You will get admission in NIT-Raipur for civil. Last year, closing rank was 26749 in open category.

Of course, you can take admission in civil engineering. But, it is tough to get government college on that score of JEE. You may go for admission in private colleges for civil engineering.

SRM is better in comparison with KIIT in terms of faculty, fee and placements.

Hello, Fees of engineering courses irrespective of branch is around Rs. 50K per semester. If course it changes according to different facilities provided in the college.

I would say, focus on your B.Tech preparation. From third year onwards, you can prepare for CAT better try to get into IIMs.
