Civil branch placement at MNIT is great on the behalf of percentage of students sitting for placements. L&T, Saint gobin, ACC cements and many more renowned companies visit here to hire meritorious students. On the other hand, people have equal chances to get placement in marketing and business analyst field in Deloitte, JP Morgan like companies.
The placement percentage mentioned on the site is less this is because the number of students sitting for placement is less. As Jaipur is a good city and an education hub in North with renowned coaching institutes here like Made Easy, T.I.M.E., Engineers Academy and many more institutions for preparation of GATE, IES, IAS, CAT, GRE etc. 50% students opt MNIT due to this only reason that they can get coaching here and performance of students tell this story too. This year we have one of IES 1st rank and One of GATE 1st rank and plenty of rankers in both the exams. Performance in CAT and GRE is much good as well. Students are confident about thier selection at such places so they don't go for placement.
The choice is all yours but surely MNIT Jaipur provides you more opportunities than any other college because of it's good Rank among NITs and the pink city Jaipur.

MIT School of Engineering is not the best but comes under the category of elite institutions in India. The college has a nice infrastructure, curriculum, academics and most important the vibrant co-curricular culture.
MIT-Pune is a private college affiliated to the University of Pune and has nice placement record when talking about civil engineering. The average placement is around 4 to 5 LPA and highest reaching up to 13 LPA.
The mass recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Wipro.
Also, some of the good global and national corporates visiting are Volkswagon, Hero, ITC, Axis Bank, Airtel, Amazon, Cisco, IGATE, etc.
The institution is overall very nice and one can get it by scoring 150 marks in MHT-CET for CSE.
The only con in the institution is the huge amount of fee. It is obvious due to its private nature, still, it will worth if you can get an education loan and some financial help from external sources.

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is traditionally broken into a number of sub-disciplines.
Production has a bit better scope than civil as of now. The placements and jobs are better than civil and there are many areas of interest that one can pursue after production engineering.
On the other hand the condition of civil engineers is not so good.
The core jobs are very less in numbers. Civil Department has much lower placements as compared to other branches in almost all colleges, many students from civil opt for IT roles due to lack of Core jobs. So what is the use of studying civil engineering for 4 years?
Even the premier institutes like IITs and NITs are facing same problem with civil.
Production beats civil by one or two points max.

CSE branch is great in terms of placement in private sector with high packages whereas CE branch offers placement in government sector with decent packages and secured jobs. CE is an evergreen core branch with brilliant scope in government sector .CIvil HasTremendous scope in so many field. Be it construction, transport, geotechnical ,fluid mechanics, repair and maintenance, seismic retrofitting of structures,testing of materials, So basically endless opportunities than CSE.If we go with bifur cation of top engineering courses out of the total number of seats only 923 seats are available in IITs and ISM Dhanbad. Hence The Competition is too high among engineering aspirants to reserve the most coveted seats in IITs
