Let see the comparison between the two colleges:
1) VJTI:-
It takes about 60 students in electrical engineering and out of them most of the students gets placed.
It accepts admissions from MHCET exam.
Average package is about Rs 6.8 Lacs for the students of electrical engineering in the placement.
The highest package is Rs 27 Lacs.
Recruiters:- Morgan Stanley, Samsung, Cisco, Bank of America, HDCF, Microsoft, Torrent, Reliance, Airtel, Godrej, l&tT, etc.

Your profile is confusing, your work experience is irrelevant to your education background though it all depends on your interest. If you are willing to study in Canada, you must choose a relevant course basis your education and work experience so choose accordingly.Architecture, Urban Planning, Environmental engineering, etc., are some options.
