Yes you can transfer your college after 1st year under condition provided by college but main thing is you have to pass in semester exam this mean no backlog then only you can transfer your college.

Diploma holders are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) therefore they can apply to appear in JEE Main but rank and score of such students for JEE (Main) is not declared as diploma holders cannot apply for admission in NITs and CFTIs through JEE (Main) channel. You are eligible to seek admission in B.Arch at IITs on completion of Diploma in Engineering.

You are advised to appear in Engineering Entrance Examinations such as JEE, etc. to seek admission in B.Tech civil engineering to become a civil engineer. You can also do a Diploma in civil engineering after 12th to become a Junior Civil engineer. You can also do AMIE section A and B to become a civil engineer.

To pursue MBA abroad, you have to give GMAT exams and after clearing it you can apply in foreign universities for MBA. You may have to give TOEFL exam also for some countries.

Salary totally depends on where you go for a job.
In IT, it is well known that government jobs are less, and also paid less, but in private companies which are leading in the market can offer you overwhelming packages.
In civil engineering, private companies offer less paid jobs, but large growth rate while government job will have to cross some barricades, like GATE or ESE for getting a much satisfactory pay and perks.
But lastly, when you become a professional, the thing matters is your work satisfaction and working hours. In that case, IT field has a bad review. If you don't get a campus placement, it is tough to get a job.
