Yash, the core branches are ECE, CSE, EE, Mech., Civil etc but with passage of time the impact of technology has increased due to which many new branches have come up like Biotech, Food tech., Nanotech, Agri., Mechanatronics etc.
Many reputed private universities are offering these courses so you can check the details of these universities like Amity, Lovely, Sharda etc.
The eligibility criteria and admission process varies from institution to institution.

It is quite tough to say as college just want a rank in the JEE Mains as many colleges make compulsory to appear in JEE Mains exam so if you did not appear but your class 12th marks are good so you can try to contact to college on the basis of class 12th marks.
