If you wish to opt for the PhD in CSE course you should have a master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline with at least 55 to 60% marks. Also, you must appear for and clear relevant PhD in CSE entrance exams conducted every year. Some colleges also take GD/PI after the entrance results.
Plus, you should always go to the official websites of the universities you're targeting to check their specific criteria.

Full admission to B.Tech course you need to be a class 12 pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects from recognised board. You must also have studied with the physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12th
Selection are through on the basis of your WBJEE score card. You must appear for the WBJEE exam, which is generally held in last week of April.

Diploma holders can apply for B.Tech in CSE at NIT Patna by appearing for JEE Main, as NITs do not offer lateral entry. Admission is only possible for the first year of B.Tech through JEE Main, regardless of a diploma qualification.
