Most distance MCA programs require Mathematics at either the 10+2 or graduation level. Since your Diploma in electronics likely didn't include math at those levels, admission to distance MCA may not be allowed. For taking admission in the MCA course at Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education, Utkal University, candidates must appear for an online test conducted by the university itself. They must achieve a valid aggregate in the same. Additionally, they must also appear for an personal interview for final selection in the course. The admissions to this course are on first come and first serve basis.

The minimum marks required for admission to BCA programs are 50 percent in 12th in most of the colleges therefore, yes you can get an admission with this score. You may try applying to more private colleges because this mark may not be enough to get in to a government college, but it doesn't mean that you don't have to apply for government colleges.
