If you took PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in 12th and did not take a look at Maths, then you definately can't get admission in BCA at Kanpur University.

For BCA there, Maths in twelfth is needed. Without Maths, a few personal faculty members may additionally allow BCA, however Kanpur University does not.

You can strive a Diploma course first or pick some other college.

Generally, there are no strict eligibility criteria for learning Linux. However, specific courses or certifications might have prerequisites, such as a certain educational background or prior experience, especially for advanced levels:

One should have a basic familiarity with using a computer and navigating its interface.
Successfully pass Class 12. (with subjects like Computers and English, preferably).
One should have a basic knowledge of how operating systems work.
However, formal certifications like RHCE, LPIC-1, and LPIC-2 (Linux Professional Institute) require prior experience with Linux.
