Do a distance course if you are having lack of time. If you want to enter a job, do certification course. Better suggestion from my side - Do a graduation course from a middle level college where low attendance level can be accepted & side by side do a certification course from a good institute from where you can get a placement.

After Diploma, you can go with degree level courses or PG Diploma programs. B.Tech degree can be obtained with specialisation in Automobile Engineering or Automobile design Engineering. Admission to the course can be done through lateral entry and thereby you can save one year. Post Graduate Diploma in Automobile Engineering is also suitable for you. Or else, you can try for a job with railways, defense, government departments, etc.
