Last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Design was 981, which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to IIIT Delhi.

Admission to the offered courses is based on merit in the NIFT Entrance Exam (except for certificate programmes). NIFT is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology to shortlist candidates for the NIFT participating institutes. The written exams comprise the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). BDes and MDes candidates need to appear in both CAT and GAT. However, BFTech, MFTech, and MFM candidates only need to take the GAT. The GAT will be conducted in a computer-based mode, whereas CAT will be offline-based. The scores of the written exams w

The cutoff for BDes in Textile Design at NIFT Bangalore is 701 for the year 2022. Admission to the BDes Textile Design programme is entrance based. Candidates are required to appear for NIFT Entrance Exam. NIFT cutoff depends on variables like seat matrix, category of the candidate, total applications, category, Common Merit Rank (CMR) of the candidate in NIFT 2023, and the popularity (or ranking) of the institute. If any of these variables change, the cut-off would also change.
