Hello, you have to define ' lot of backlogs'. A figure can help me guide you better. Regarding admissions, yes you can apply and will depend on the target university's admission requirements and your overall percentile after clearing the backlogs, test scores such as IELTS, your SOP, LORs, etc.

Hi Sachiv,
You can study if you have a good profile. Backlogs are considered if not a big number and if you have improved on your marks after clearing the backlogs. Since Canadian colleges are competitive I will also advise you to keep other country options also.

Yes, you can change your trade in BE. And, your percentage is also good but you have to qualify LEET entrance examination and cross the cut-off according to the college and branch.

Or you can also give another year to preparation of JEE.
