Both are good but DTU is old and reputed so I will suggest you going with DTU. The placement record of both the universities is almost same.

Hello Tejas,
Electronics and communication engineering is better than electrical and electronics engineering, because in EEE you will be able to work only in core company means, even if you don't get a job related to EEE, you cannot go in any other way as your EEE will be really dedicated and towards main stream.
And recruiters don't prefer EEE graduates for all fields like ECE graduates.
In case of ECE, you can get jobs in all fields. ECE graduates are getting jobs in all fields like IT, automobile, telecommunication etc.
So, if you take ECE, you can get a job easily even if you don't get a core job.

If this is your JEE rank, then, you can try to get into your home state NIT. You might fetch a seat there. Moreover, if you don't get it then you can try for some GFTIs and other regional engineering colleges.

After completion of Diploma in EC, you should opt for lateral entry admission in the second year of Engineering. You can opt for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications branch of engineering as per your own interest.
