This college's killing creativity by giving assignments which are of no use. Forcing the students to fill positive review in any feedback/survey. When it comes to placements for ECE, there is no support from placement department, so be careful as there's not even a single Fortune company would come. There's is Lie that is said to the candidates that is Amazon, Accenture, Boeing etc. Companies would come But this is not so. This is really Blunder.

Hello Narender Kamlay, I am afraid that you are looking at the issue in a totally different trajectory. I feel that if your son has backlogs then he should perhaps take a break from college, study with tuitions all the subjects with backlog and clear thesis at one go. You should consider IIIT Nagpur as
1) you will get a brand of IIIT and IIITs grow faster relative to IP university
2) Moreover you will get on-campus internships and PPO in this college.

Electrical or mechanical are the best branches for GATE.

It depends on your interest in ECE or It if you are not sure about it. I recommend you to go with ECE as around 70% of companies allows ECE students to sit in IT placements, moreover. ECE is also known as evergreen branch as you can apply for IES exam and private sector job doors are also open for you.
