You can surely explore a product based company after your B.Tech. Choose your last year project carefully. Also, start applying to the product based companies of your interest once you get into last semester.

Hello Monica,
Admission form will be out from June 11th, 2019 onwards.
Admission criteria is 50% marks in B.E. / B.Tech in relevant discipline from a recognised university with GATE.

No, lateral entry in MCA programme is not available at the asked college. The MCA eligibility criteria is given below:
Eligibility : Passed a 3-year Bachelors Degree programme in any discipline with mathematics at 10+2 level or
passed 3-year Bachelors Degree programme in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects, of any recognized university.

As per Information brochure-2019 of TNAU, the B.Tech (Agriculture engineering) lateral admission are not available.

Lateral 2nd year admission are available in B.Tech Marine Engineering at Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai campuses. The eligibility criteria is as under.
Eligibility for Lateral Entry : Candidates with at least 55% marks overall in: 3-years Diploma in Marine/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering Or 4-years Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.
And
A minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th/Diploma Examination. The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 3 years.
