In 2025, the JEE Advanced cutoff for each subject and overall cut off was dropped across all the categories. The JEE Advanced cutoff marks for inclusion in the rank list in the last session were: 20.56% for the common rank list; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists.

Yes. Initially the JEE Advanced cutoff is released with the information brochure of the exam. However, the cutoff is usually revised and published again with the JEE Advanced result.

If the PwD certificate is valid and issued by the competent authority, it will be considered for availing the reservation. However, it is advsied to get the UDID card before admission process.

As per the JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility criteria, general/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2001 in order to apply for the exam. Candidates from SC, ST, and PwD category get a 5-year relaxation hence they must be born on or after October 1, 1996.
